Possibly Good News, Possibly Bad News
Well had my first exam today, what I thought would arguably be my hardest, in a class I wasn't doing so well in. Well my first good news came with my assignment, that I scored a 72% on. My professor informed me that the mark would likely go up because some people didn't hand in assignments at all. As for the exam, I believe I sent my professor 4 e-mails yesterday with questions I had for her while working through practice questions for the exam. It was a great idea as the exam's multiple choice had questions straight out of the practice questions! I was worried before this exam that I'd even pass the course, now I hope I can score somewhere in the 60% + range and hopefully get a decent C (I know C really isn't decent by any stretch of the imagination but comparing to failing this course, it's tremendous).
Possibly bad news? FedEx assured me that all I would have to do is wait for a phone call saying that my package has re-arrived in Edmonton and I can schedule an appointment to get it. Well it's in champaign, Illinois right now, on it's way back to warrensberg according to my tracking information. As far as I can tell through tracking info, and since Pershing Auto Body Supply hasn't called me (I gave them the heads up that FedEx was fucking with me, and they might get the package back, and to call me if that happened), I haven't recieved a phone call from Pershing saying they have it, and tracking says it's still on a fedex truck. So, big question here, will it end up back at the warehouse in champaign on it's way back here, or do I simply have to wait a couple more hours or maybe until tomorrow to discover that it ended up back at pershing? We shall see...
Exams! One down (one that ensures I passed a course) and three to go. Tomorrow's will be difficult, definitely. I need to pull out a strong one tomorrow morning, although I am in less of a risk of failing tomorrow's class. The second midterm I did not do as well as the first on, and I still recieved a 58%, and there are two midterms each worth 25% and a final worth 40%. So it is worth quite a bit. I do have to do pretty well. I finish average, I'm going to end up probably just under 60% in the course with a D. I do better than 60% I might end up with a C or better. Wish me luck. Friday I have an exam, I know I have a C in that course, and my instructor told me I could easily put myself in the B range with a few minor adjustments. I will not talk about the horrors that is Monday's final open book exam, and how I don't know what to expect and how the professor keeps jerking us around more and more each time. But we'll see.
So Good News or Bad News? We'll know everything probably by next wednesday...
