Well - my good [looking] amiga "[baby]bellicose" had an interestingly good point on her blog: how certain songs sorta speak to places you have been in your life and cause memory recall on your part. This is something that I live through - or at least try to find songs that do so (I like to live in the past).
But a little while ago - I was watching an old episode of snl - and I really was not paying much attention - sorta half assed watching while I played the guitar. Until Peter Gabriel stepped on stage playing "In Your Eyes" and - although its not always my style of music - I basically stopped and just watched and listened like a zombie completely zoned in on the tube.
But yea - in life there are certain songs that you just stop everything you are doing - and just listen and zone - retreating into your head.
Other than that - my weekend started out alright. Great Friday night/saturday morning; no - no boozing or anything. I was just hanging out with some friends and then stayed up cause I had to be up at 6:30 for (coaching) baseball. But then I went back - after we won - and went right to sleep. When I woke up - my parents gradually got to the point where they now practically hate me, I left, but had no where to go - cause no one called me - and I tried calling people - and no one did. So, I sat in my car for an hour. Then sat in my room since 9:30.
Sad.
