I love holidays. The events we anticipate all year long have the power to reset our exhaustion and inspire us to try to start anew, to become the best versions of ourselves, and so on. But I want to take a moment, albeit belatedly, to tell you that…
It’s Okay - not to feel festive. Often, in the lead up to holidays, people face a flood of deadlines and end of year tasks. It’s understandable if you’re too tired for celebration.
It’s Okay - to go to bed without waiting for midnight. Many holidays involve staying up late, but you might simply want to stick to your routine even during festive times or feel too worn out to celebrate all night.
It’s Okay - to wear comfortable clothes. Holiday traditions often call for “proper” attire that can be quite uncomfortable. We’re all for comfort.
It's Okay - to want to eat safe food and drink beverages you trust. When you see champagne being mixed with vodka, it becomes clear where that can lead. You have every right not to partake in that.
Take care of yourself ❤️
