Imagine that the government has introduced unconditional income for a group of citizens as an experiment. The good news is that you have been chosen at random to participate in this experiment, with only 10,000 lucky people in the entire country. You will now receive $1200 monthly from the government for a year while the experiment lasts.

What do you think of this experiment? What will you do with this money? How will your life change?

I would take this act of unprecedented generosity as a way to pay for modern medicine. I would go myself and take turns sending my family members for a full diagnostic for diseases, defects, malfunctions, etc.

I agree with you @cerebus666; most people don't know how to think anymore. Most people avoid the tough questions and distract themselves from really understanding.

@headshot I feel you in regards to hating this reality we are currently living in....seems like a bad movie that you want to turn off. One thing that has really helped me is mindfulness (I wrote a blog post about it on my page, if you want to check it out). I admire you for asking the tough questions about things. I would say, don't give up, tough times seem to have a way of creating tougher people, who will figure a way out of it. Part of the answer is to accept things as they are, BUT also have a goal in mind for how you'd like them to be.
