As I sit here contemplating editing some of the documentary together, but, knowing I have more interviews to do yet. I realize a lot of this documentary making is a waiting game. Waiting to hear back from people if they will do your documetnary, if they do, to find when they are available and does it mesh with your schedule. For me, at least, it is a lot of down time and thumb twiddling.

Well, who am I waiting on, you may ask. I am currently waiting to hear back from 'Dark Garden' to schedule a time to interview for my documentary. They make custom corsets here in San Francisco. They also agreed to loan samples of thier corsets for some of the subjects to wear during their photo shoots for the documentary.

I am also waiting to hear back from 'The Knotty Boys'. They do 'bondage pieces that are elaborate and decorative in a more gothic fashion'. Once I have an interview scheduled with them, I hope I can convince them to tie up some of the subjects for their photo shoots, as well.

Also on the list, I am waiting to hear back from Lily, who will be doing some of the photo set photography, who is waiting to hear from a friend of hers to find out when we will have access to his photo studio for our photo shoots.

As I keep waiting, I begin to wonder: have they become busy and can't find the time to reply? Are they blowing me off? Have they forgotten? Should I contact them again? How long should I wait before I contact them again?

Also, I'm still looking for a few more people to interview and I need even more people to photograph. So I'll be waiting for these, as well.

*Thumbs begin twiddling*

I do appreciate the support. Did you like our semi-show at BAGG? Are you coming to Chez Paree on Sunday? I have a guy friend who may be interested in doing the doc.
