Today, ladies and gentlemen, I present for your entertainment "the Mohamed Ali of RhythmnBlues" : King Khan.
Quite, quite silly... but appealing to me today.
I squealed like a pig when I discovered that one of my bands will be leaving Alabama for Europe. Only a few dates in Scandanavia announced so far, but I might even be tempted to go there.

Sorry that I haven't visited recently. I really needed some "stari space" both on and off-line. I have been a little hermit girl watching the rain and cleaning out cupboards (and looking for jobs )
There will be more sea stories soon. Hopefully I will have posted more about our trip and some additional recipes by this weekend. In the meantime, I have posted sea sojourn pictures. I got some AMAZING pics of all kinds of tentacled sea creatures! So Squidgie!!! So many tentacles!!! I the sea. We are currently scheming ways to re-structure our life so we can live at the beach for a few years. *fingers crossed*
So what's up with you? Tell all! stari demands knowledge of your personal life.
BTW~ I totally cheated on the jerked mushrooms. I got a bottle of papaya jerk sauce from the local grocery, sliced portabella mushrooms and red peppers, and marinated them in the sauce for several hours. (I did add extra olive oil) Then fired up the wok and sauteed away. Extra yummy with the coconut rice and easy as pie (which is a stupid saying because there is nothing easy about pie! Teehee!)
I'm going to eat sweet, sweet sushie now . . . mmmmmm . . . sushi *drool*
