An odd weekend.
On Friday night I went to see the London Sinfonetta perform a programme of 'modernist' music written in the 1930s and tunes from various Warp artists (Aphex Twin and Squarepusher). There were also brief sets from Squarepusher himself and Jamie Lidell, but I was more interested in classical musicians coming to grips with modern, electronic music.
I was awed, satisfied and bored all in the same evening. It was well worth it. I also bumped into a couple of friends there, that I had no idea were going, so that was nice. An ex was also there apparently, but luckily I didn't see her.
Today I have been very sleepy and snoozy: spending last night on a friends sofa resulted in very little sleep.

Was it a one off or is it part of a tour? That could make for an interesting night....
