Thursday I finally got to see my doctor, then I ran errands the rest of the day rather than go to work. So I bought a ticket to see Sarah Susanka (author of The Not So Big House and derivative works) talk on Wednesday. Then I showed up at the Library of Congress to see Lawrence Lessig talk. His speech was excellent, but the slides mostly sucked. They actually seemed to kill brain cells, except for the few that had parody videos. The one that started out like The Matrix and then contained nothing but footage from Faux Fox News was riotously funny. Managed to get to the pharmacy and have my script filled ten minutes before they closed.
Friday I staggered in to work, got caught up on the office goings on, and then went home.
Yesterday I decided to move around some, so I went walking around some of the big honkin' museums they've got hereabouts.
On the agenda for today: shopping for supplies and maybe some laundry.

And you're getting to see Susan Susanka! I love her books.
At least I live in Portland, so I've got something to hold over you. Nyah nyah.
