Hard to believe she is only 3!!!!! This girls wearing a 4-5 size and over half of my height! She's gonna be a tall one that is for sure!
Poor Blake... so the guy installed hardwood in our master bedroom all Saturday. Then Sunday got called into work for 6am for an emergency at work and was there until 11pm last night. He had no rest this weekend and we have Loud as Hell festival this weekend and we are both acts.
His band The Archon Prophecy plays Friday night and I am dancing a horror burlesque on Saturday.
So Sunday Funday I took Arya to Fish Creek Park to play! We went rock hunting, had a nice walk, dipped our feet in the river and blew bubbles.
She really loves the outdoors and adventures. Blake bought her a fishing rod (just one of those fake kids ones) so this summer we've been spending lots of time down at Fish Creek "Fishing".
Can you tell we are a Sailor Moon fan? HAHA she really loves that show! I loved it when I was young too. She's also really into Pokemon. She watches the old cartoon and when Detective Pikachu came out I was thanking the gods we were the only two in the movie theater.
It was "Mom who's that one?" the whole time! She knows most of the older ones but there were some in that movie I had no clue who they were? I guess I am showing my age. But it was funny because she was like "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH mom! Call Aunty Page" and handed me my phone in the cup holder.
That is one thing we really love to do is our Mother/Daughter movie dates. We go for a nice lunch, then play video games then share popcorn and watch a movie.
She's been able to sit through a full movie since 1 years old. I think she's going to take after me with an appreciation of film.
The only downfall is we are both very emotional when it comes to watching. I am a cry baby. Like I bawl my eyes out in movies and sometimes it is embarrassing. Arya is the same way. If it ever has anything to do with parents... she cries.
We saw Toy Story 4 last week... the end killed me. She cried pretty bad with the little girl who was lost. Poor Blake is stuck with two very emotional water signs in his life.
Well back to the grind! I've gotta freaking practice practice practice! My friends working media for the event and Hazzardous Material was on the list of "MUST HAVE'S" for footage. I am wearing a mask for the first part with a cape so these bloody steps gotta be on par with the lack of vision I have!
Have a good day babes!
