Arya Winter Marie made her debut on Feb 21st!!! Sorry it took me so long to post about my baby but it's been all about her since she entered my life <3
I ended up being induced because I had pre-clampsia. It was horrible. I went in and started my induction then we had a floodgate open with emergency births so I was stuck for three days in the admittance room because they had no birth room for me.
I was more then frustrated. I had to seriously freakout for a shot to ease my pain on the 2nd night because I could not sleep. I knew I was a tough cookie but after two days of contractions every 4 mins I needed something to sleep or I could not push.
Finally the 3rd day they had a doctor to deliver her. I got started on part two of the induction with my water being broken and my contractions were every 45 seconds! I finally was able to get the epidural.
After about 40 minutes I felt the need to push. The nurses were like there is no way.. we just broke the water. Finally they checked me and YUP I was almost at 10cm so she was coming!!!! They also found the cervadil (round two of it) left in my cervix so no wonder I was in such agony. I had two forms of the induction going at the same time!
I pushed for almost an hour then they informed me Arya flipped. They had to go in manually with a specialist to turn her. THANK THE GODS I WAS NUMB!!!!!!!!!! As soon as Arya was flipped she came flying out!
My baby made her debut and I got to hold her in my precious arms.
She's been in my life four weeks come tomorrow. I never thought I could love something as much as I do this little peanut. She seriously brought me so much joy.
We took those shots of my body the day we started the induction. I really wanted to do some classy black and whites to remind me of how much my body changed during pregnancy. I put on a total of 50lbs this pregnancy. I felt really good and loved pregnancy which I thought I would seriously hate. It always reminded me of Aliens but being connected to something you created really warmed my heart.
I just love her little smile. Seriously makes me laugh every time I see this! She's such a strong little girl too! They were shocked at her 2 week checkup how strong her neck was. She holds herself up already! Tummy time for the win!
Here is my lil Leprechaun!!!! LOL I feel sorry for her. I do photos of her all the time!
Arya is ready for Platform 9 3/4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had to do a Potter tribute of course!
And of course with a name like Arya Winter I had to get her NEEDLE made. My baby is named after Arya Stark from Game of Thrones.
Can't wait to share more photos I have in store for peanut. This poor thing's stuck with a mom who is a Photographer and will be capturing so much! LOL
