This past weekend was my Holiday Boudoir Special. I can't share any of my clients shots because they are gifts but I also was able to get a couple Hazz Mat Sets shot in there along with SG! I do a special twice a year. You get full hair, makeup and wine then a session with me and a mini album. We shoot them in a high end hotel room.
Above is Marilyn Crawford! We did two sets of her and I just LOVED them! The walls behind the tub were a light creme so it was perfect for adding in a splash of colour. I put a nice pink gel on one light to create this beautiful romantic tone to it.
They had these big glass french doors that entered the bedroom portion of the room. XOGLAMOROUS shot a romantic set and I used a red gel over the back light to create this mood.
I got to shoot another set with SweetB! Her first one we shot is dropping in a couple months! I just adore this stunning red head! She's so funny, charming and way too freaking cute! So let's get this babe to go PINK when her set drops!
I put up my Tree this morning and got my studio ready for portraits. I start shooting them tonight for clients then tomorrow I've got 3 sets with models and Saturday god help me... 12! I have to shoot them so early because I take off for half of December and most of my clients make Holiday Cards through my company so I gotta get them photographed, sent out and designed! They take about a week to ship so I have to ensure all my orders are in, sorted and out to my clients before I board a plane.
That's my Fireplace with Black Stockings. My tree is jet black with a praying Day of the Dead Skull on top. I use black ribbon and red decorations! This year I am going to be in Orlando Florida so I can't wait to pick up more I love Lucy ones!
Under the tree I have designer boxes that have beautiful sparkly ravens that sit on top of them.
I also have a WHITE tree with more traditional style of decorating for my clients who are not into the goth style. Its got silver and blue balls! Just lovely! I also wallpapered some back drops with Holiday Paper for Pinup sets I got booked this weekend. Ill show you some after I shoot my models with them for our site.
Here was a good shot of the crew for Halloween. I am in the back wearing the bloody bunny mask! What a fun time!
Well it's back to the grind! I got two books to finish for my boudoir clients before the wave of Christmas Portraits start. I am doing those over the next 7 days then BAMN this Momma is officially RETIRED from Photography until next summer!
Arya's been kicking up a storm! It's such a crazy feeling growing a tiny human inside of you. She's been staying breech the whole time so I hope she flips before Feb or else I will be getting a C-Section.
Another strange thing... our hospital plays a song for your baby to announce her debut to the world. They seriously play this over the PA for everyone. I said to my husband WTF? Like can you imagine if you were there for two days in all that pain and you have to hear all these songs for the other babies born? I would LOATHE that!
We have four doctors that are on call for the delivery. One is named Hitchcock. I hope its him! That man was a big influence on my art, Ive been following his films since I was 7 years old! I told the lady at the Maternity Clinic if its him we will pick Psycho for the song. She gave me the strangest look but I laughed.
We will most defiantly be going with the Game of Thrones Theme Song. Arya's named after Arya Stark so it is the PERFECT FIT!
