We can’t believe its less than 24 hrs until we see the dead.
We waited so long to hear our favourite songs,
Sitting in the parking lot before show... hitting the bong.
Dead Memories, Vermillion... even Part two...
Can’t wait for Corey to sing us the tunes.
This time its two new members Venturella and Jay,
Really love these additions we hope they stay.
We are ready for Sid to Spin and Mick to tower,
Slipknot is our metal gods... they have the power.
We are ready for Pulse of the Maggots, Spit it Out, Wait and Bleed,
Outside the Nine... they planted the seed.
For we are known as Maggots, the hardcore fans,
Slipknot will always be our favourite Band.
This was me with members of Slipknot in 2008. I had a freakout when I was picked for the meet n greet. They are hands down my fav band in the world. I have two tattoos for them on my arm. I did the Slipknot S on my forearm then my skull holds a banner that reads TIL WE DIE (which is one of their songs).
I was suppose to start adding in the masks but I had to give ink a break because I have peanut growing in my belly! But one day you are going to see them all on my body.
This is when I met Jim Root. He is my fav guitarist in the whole world! I look so cheesy in this photo because I was seriously that excited when I met him for the first time.
He was tossing guitar picks at me but they kept on bouncing off my boobs. These teens next to me kept grabbing them and I was so sad because I collect them. He asked me if I caught any and I told him sadly no. He dug into his pocket and pulled out his Stone Sour tour pick. Told me he's been using it for YEARS and gave it to me. It's one of my most prized possessions.
A year later I went to see Corey Taylor at his book tour in Orlando. I was picked to ask him a question on stage about the book. I really embarrassed him because I asked him about kissing his guitarist and which one it was because he never mentioned names in the book.
I was walking off the stage and Jim was standing right there. He said "Hey you crazy canuck! You're far from home!" then we laughed and I was invited to hangout side stage with him a few members of the Knot. It was so much fun!!!!!

When I met him at Slipknot they put me in this pitch black room and said follow the flash light on the floor. So I followed this light then it stopped.
All of a sudden Psychosocial started blasting and then these lights blew on with Corey, Chris and Clown at a table turning their heads creepy. I froze and was like OH MY GOD... Its SLIPKNOT!
Corey had to tell me three times to come to the table and I was frozen. He got up grabbed my hand and took me there. They all signed a photo of them and then took the photo with me above.

This is Clowns Riser. This shot when blown up on my computer you can see me and Jules in the crowd. I loved it! When they played Dead Memories it was close up on me singing the whole time!
Hands down the BEST concert I've ever been to! Deftones opened!!!! Tomorrow I return to my "Maggot Roots" and this time they play our HUGE arena. I am further away to keep peanut safe but I would not miss the knot for the world.
