Well I got it done! 8 wedding's photographed and I am WIPED! My summer was so jam packed!!!
It's been a crazy month so far and we are only 8 days in. You see I have a big booth for Hazzardous Material at the Edmonton Comic Book Expo so this long weekend was spent shooting 14 models in cosplay.
We did a very sexy version of Jay and Silent Bob, Mortal Kombat, Lord of the Rings (Pippin's there so we had to do it!), Guardians of the Galaxy, Sailor Moon and Kickass.
It's a full month of geek going down! I had to shoot all of them on the green screen because we had a shit storm roll in. Snow and rain... ALREADY!
This Saturday we hit the badlands with 12 models to do MAD MAX! I can't wait to show you the costumes Rachel made. Her talent blows me away!.
I have a announcement to make. Baby E is making his/her debut in Feb! Me and my husband have been waiting a very long time for this! This baby was 3 years in the making!
That's my first ultrasound. Peanut was so hyper! Bouncing off the walls! I gotta say he/she has the double kick bass down pat! It totally explained my insane morning sickness all summer.
I threw up more times then I could count. I had to let a few of the models know because I projectile vomited on shoots which was mortifying. It comes with barely a warning!. A few made jokes about hangovers and I was like no..actually a bun in the oven!
I find out one month from today what I am having! I really want a little girl but I am thinking its a boy in there. Either way I will be so happy. I am 32 years old and it was do or die for a family because I am getting old balls. I said to my husband after 3 years of trying and nothing that I threw the towel in.
I said okay after our vacation to Florida in December we can see a specialist. Then sure enough when the pressure was off Peanut came into our lives.
My Mother's gift to us is the baby room. I am so spoiled!!!. This Sunday we bought a crib (black of course) and a grey rocking chair. I gotta wait to find out if it's a he or a she because the theme room all depends on the sex.
I picked names from the Game of the Thrones (for a girl) and the Hobbit (for a boy). My mother had a bit of a meltdown when I showed her the Game of Thrones Theme idea. Shes like no way in HELL! That is terrifying to a newborn.
So we compromised on making House Stark a bit more babyish...... teee hee... can you figure out my girls name?
Well back to the grind! I gotta get 11 sets edited over today and tomorrow so I am ready for another jam packed weekend of interviews, model shoots and a band shoot!
