This is a photo of a Black Pearl I got. Every time I've picked out an Oyster I've managed to get a black pearl. They represent Wisdom. I joked and said no they represent Darkness lol made her laugh! but then she told me a trick to always finding black pearls! I told her that I always pick the most ugly creepy looking ones and that is the key!
I was in Oahu for the Pipe Masters but really sad to report that the three days I was there they had to put the competition on hold because there was no swell and the waves were baby sized! I was so pumped to see the Pipe for the semi-finals and finals.
The smaller waves did help them film a bunch though. I got to see some of the pros filming for pages which was really neat! Next year for sure! Ill be there at Pipeline!
I did a tour at Pearl Harbor. Here is window panes in the museum where they keep the planes. I found it extremely interesting that they left the panes riddled with bullet holes as a reminder of the day.
This is the USS Missouri where they ended the war. It was such a cool tour! You might recognize this ship from two films. Under Siege and Battleship. Each one of the battle guns weighs more then a 747 Boeing Plane. Talk about nuts!
So this weekend I got to cosplay Edward Mordrake from American Horror Story. We are paying tribute to the characters on the season's finale. Dougie shot the group then I did the solos (everyone but me).
Dimond played the twins Bette/Dot, Bailey was Dandy Mott, NecrOphelia was Elsa, Travis was Jimmy Darling, Alyxx Munroe as Esmeralda, me as Edward Mordrake and then Morbid Morgana as Twisty.
This was me kicking back at the end of the weekend watching NFL playoffs. My Packers did it!! We face the Seahawks next! BOOM BOOM BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well I gotta get ready for Banff today! Off to shoot an Engagement Session and then capture the beauty of the Canadian Rockies
