TGIF!
Thank god! LOL I've had a long week. I've been doing the Press Bound Album and "Thank You Cards" for one of my wedding clients and NOTHING was good enough. This Bride has turned out to be the "Bridezilla" I've been warned to watch for. I've done a total of 5 weddings and never had to deal with anyone high maintenance until her.
I always sit down with my clients after the set is edited and sent digitally. I then get details for the Disk Case, Prints, Press Bound Album and then if they want to do "Thank You" Cards with me I sit down and get all those details.
They told me exactly what they wanted verbally. No samples to follow so this one I had to do it in my head. So I sent over the first template to show. NO GOOD! Second.. NO GOOD.. Third NO GOOD. So I said okay listen you need to give me a sample of these Celtic Knots you want and where on the card. You said you wanted to border your image and that is what I've done along with the quote selected.
I get a response. "I didn't think your photography was this difficult" This is after I had to show these clients how to use Dropbox. What's not to know? You create your own password with the link I email and you click DOWNLOAD. In all 80 of the dropboxes I've done for clients this year this is the first couple who were too stupid to understand it. Even my 55 year old boudoir client this spring could do it.
So 4th times a charm this week and they finally liked a design. I've got a massive stress headache from these two. If you could only read the email conversations we had. I asked her several questions and I got back no answers and DO IT THE WAY I TOLD YOU. Usually I send 3 samples of Thank You cards with the image and the clients usually write back "Oh I love it! I want to go with the tri-fold or the 5x7 insert" . Even with my announcements I do for newborns or "expecting" have I had this much difficulty.
So I wanted to share my version of the "Creepy Clown" Character.
This one was awesome because I got to take Kelsey out of her pretty little box and make her finally something scary. Kelsey was my Pinball Princess and Bond Girl. She always does pretty so finally I took her out of her shell.
This one was crazy. I found a fence that was perfect for the set over in the industrial area up by the airport. We just finished shooting and all of a sudden a red truck with #YYC Airport Security rolls up.
Doug is frantic trying to cover Kesley's nude body and I just laughed and said calm down I've got this. I talked to security and apparently my strobes were making the planes think they had to land farther then the airport. Also my magnetic pulse was interfering with the tower control and we almost caused a plane crash.
Now that is what I call Hazzardous Material.
