So this morning (or afternoon Australian time!) I have woken up in Oslo and about to pack again and head off to Bergen. Wow, can I make a mess of a hotel room in a few hours.
Yesterday was the longest day ever! I didn't sleep very well and then had a hectic day and headed off to the airport just after 7pm Perth time, 1pm Oslo time. An overnight flight to Dubai where I did manage to sleep for about 5-6 hours and then transfer to my Oslo flight. Emirates are the greatest and upgraded me to Business class for the just over 6 hour flight. LUXURY!! š
Land in Oslo at 12noon Tuesday. So nearly 24 hours of flying with not much sleep. Discovered that Oslo has a lot more than I thought it would and wandered around all afternoon. Fell into bed absolutely exhausted about 9pm and the sun was still up... I was excited about midnight sun before I left but was so sleepy that I didn't care last night. Just needed some sleep. Feeling better today and off to Bergen for 4 days. More adventure on the way!!
