Chapter Two—Hazel
[Ring, ring, ring.]
[Ring, ring, ring.]
[Hey what’s good homie?] Hazel smiled on the other end as she answered Ashley's call, as she was very happy to be hearing from her at all with only having just recently reconnected after all those years.
[Hey Hazel. I may or may not have fucked up—and I need a favor babes…] Ashley paced her room, looking down at her feet as she bit the skin around her nails.
[Why don’t you just fuck her already?]
[Yeah for real, get it bitch!]
[Shut up.] Ashley muttered to herself as her alters were a bit on the intrusive side—and almost always at the wrong place at the wrong time such as when Ashley made phone calls.
[Okay, so don’t freak out, but I may or may not also have missed the start of my first day at The Liquid Psychosis… so I am going to do something to fix it!] Ashley exclaimed profusely, though vaguely.
[I need four nodes of obsidian at the least, Haze. Can you hook it up for me?] she added.
[Yeah… I s’pose. But what the hell Ash, what’re you up to? You best be careful, I heard the eluminasi is s-seriously Cr-cracking d-down on illegal m-magic u-use…] Hazel reminded Ashley with trepidation and foreboding as she knew how Ashley could be at times and knew what she was like when she overreacted—and it was far from pleasant for those on the receiving end.
Hazel was higher than a bloody kite, and it showed as she slurred her words—after all, she was a poly addict.
[Wait, you said you missed your first day? What the fuck, ash? After what I did and had to give up for you to get that stripping fucking job?] Hazel took a figurative double-take as she snapped back to reality a bit as she screamed so loud Ashley's ears nearly started to ring.
She was pissed, she gave up everything for Ashley—as per usual with Ashley manipulating her and all.
[Whoa, whoa, whoa. Chill! I have a fucking solution, a I g h t? Just please tell me can you help me or not with the obs id?] Ashley reiterated the urgency of her situation as she nearly screamed back at Hazel.
The two tended to argue like sisters—and they may as well be too, with how close they had become. They both cared about one another, but on a level of maturity—Hazel had Ashley beat, and beat by a long shot at that.
[Fine, but you too best hurry, I won't wait around forever, ash. Not anymore. Anyway, meet me at the nearest penta point in fifteen, got me?] Hazel hung up before Ashley could even give her her response.
But before Ashley noticed she had ended their short yet heated call, she nearly again yelled [fifteen minutes w-what the f u—] this is when Ashley, began to panic.
Ashley and Hazel both knew that the nearest pent a point by Ashley, was well over fifteen minutes away at best, and it was also fully illegal for anyone under the age of 21 to leave their sector—let alone pay a visit to one of the five gates.
But she didn’t have a choice, not if she wanted to fulfill her dream of making it big as a top-tier exotic dancer at The Liquid Psychosis.
[fuck my life. Why does she always have to do this to me—and put me under a time crunch like that, that’s so fucking risky!] one of Ashley's predominant alters screamed out as she felt a panic attack start to form—not to be complete without her migraines, though as per the norm for Ashley. Whenever she would have any sort of panic attack, she would develop a massive and intensified migraine right along with it.
Ashley rushed to find her car keys before attempting to rush out of the door and get into her car so she could drive to meed hazel, get her obsidian, and proceed to gather the ingredients for the summon.
[Where the fuck are they! Ugh! I need my fucking car keys, dammit. Why does everything like this keep happening to me?!] Ashley had tears forming under her eyelids as she suddenly could not refrain from sobbing any further, and at the same time—her temper started to boil.
She was the type where when she got mad, she would also begin to cry as she proceeds to have an explosion of a mental breakdown—whenever she was alone, at least. Although, no person dead or alive would ever catch any sort of emotional response from Ashley—provided she had it her way that is.
But that is when Ashley remembered two things, firstly—where her car keys are hiding. Secondarily—she remembered that the nearest pent a point was the same as the one in the same vicinity as Hazel if her’s was not further away from her—which meant she had more than enough time to drive there, or so she had thought.”
"DISSOCIATIVE HELL"
Got a new diagnosis,
D.I.D.
This is my draft,
Number Ninety-Three.
Why the fuck,
Did this happen to me?
I was one me this morning,
And now I am another.
What does this mean?
When do I change?
Is this why,
I’ve acted so strangely?
And is it why,
I feel I cannot change?
When really,
I change all the time.
More often,
Than I rhyme.
Why couldn’t I,
See all of the signs?
When I did,
I could not accept them.
I did not want to do this,
Not all over again.
I do not know who I am,
And come to find out,
Who I am is twenty.
They make me want,
Want to scream very loud.
My mind is like,
Some fucking crowd.
Of personalities that is,
That’s half our country.
I must find out,
What is D.I.D.?
Or at least,
What D.I.D. is,
For me.
