Today I wanted to share something with you to kick off the week! I want to share a real, live excerpt from my novel, Elemental Enchantress! I have been working on my book non-stop for a while now, and after a good amount of world building, which I am doing as I go, I felt it was time I share some of my real writing…
I definitely have a lot of anxieties over publishing, if I am completely honest. I question everything, which is fine and all until it gets you to get in your own way.
Yayyyy self-sabotage!
It does not matter what it is that I am publishing, but in this specific scenario, it was all about
releasing some of my novel.
What if it's hated, I ask myself.
What if it sucks? I ask again.
Well, I am here to say…
SO THE FUCK WHAT. I created a fucking WORLD.
How many people can say they did that, and in less than three weeks at that?
That is how I am responding to all of my negative thoughts. Solid plan, I think. 😂🤷

I decided to go with an excerpt from Chapter One, Scene Two, as it is a chapter I have worked a lot with. Although, I am on chapter five, maybe six already.
Elemental Enchantress: Chapter One, Scene Two
“Well shit, that was a new one” Ashley said to herself, rather shocked as to what just happened.
As Ashley is zoning off into space trying to make sense of as to why that magic was so powerful. She hears the door handle juggle as she hears someone fumbling with the keys to get in.
“Oh fuck now this is really bad….” Ashley said to herself, becoming more and more panicked by the second now as she snaps back into reality of her surroundings.
It was Lilith.
“What in the hell..?!” Lilith asks Ashley confused and looking concerned.
“Its been a while since you came back here with that guy, and I want- wanted t-to see if you were okay!” Lilith exclaims.
Ashley is silent as she is unsure what to say.
“Are you worried about others finding out about the magic you just used?” Lilith asks Ashley.
“Shit what do I say what do I say what do I say…” thinks Ashley.
“Yeah, I guess.” Says Ashley anxiously as she pushes her thick black hair out of her face and eyes.
“Dont worry about that one bit!” exclaimed Lilith now smiling’.
“Interesting..” Ashley thought to herself. “And why is that? “ Ashley nervously asked Lilith.
“You don’t need to worry, I am actually only a half human myself, and I have no reason at all to involve The Eluminasi. Don’t worry. You want to tell me what happened, though?” Lilith asks Ashley, concerned.
“Do I tell her the truth?” Ashley wondered to herself.
“Well, this man brought me back here for a specialty dance, I thought he was just a kinkier dude… when next thing I know he is on top of me, whipping me while I am cuffed to the bed…” Ashley admits, ashamed. “I felt powerless, and then it was like I snapped back to reality and couldn't handle it anymore.” Ashley admits to Lilith as she fidgets rapidly.
“Oh no… are you okay?” asked Lilith, understanding now how uncomfortable Ashley was.
“Erm, yeah, yeah I’m all good.” Lied Ashley, still trying to understand what just happened, still fidgeting rather heavily.
“Oh good I am so glad to hear that, do you want to hangout after shift?” Lilith asks, radiating excitement now.
“ Thank fuck I am a good liar.” Thought Ashley, feeling a sense of relief as she tries to forget about what just occurred.
“Ash?”
Ashley realized she had taken a bit of a pause.
