I was hanging with my little girl today , she is 4 and has never ending energy. I took her out to lunch and she was eating and playing with some kids there. I was talking to a couple of the parents there and I saw my little girl run up to my table and grab a french fry and run off. 30 to 40 seconds later her face was purple, she was choking on the fry. I was a jr life guard going up and have never done cpr or anything you learned in class. But I knew what to do and she started breathing fine again and all was good. Moral of the story... don't have kids cause they lead to heart attacks! Kidding. They are great.

Oh man thank goodness she is ok! I once had to help my brother fish a penny out of his mouth when he was little!

I can imagine how frightening that can be. My son's choked for a few moments on stuff but never long enough to turn colors. My son is a big reason why I always get recertified in CPR at my job because ya never know when those skills will come in handy.
