Well I got double tagged by Gracie and sexygenie so I thought I might as well do this...
20 interesting facts about me:
#1. I own a full set of Stormtrooper armor. I was going to save that to last, but I thought I would get the geekiest stuff out first.
#2. I sent people Christmas Cards with me dressed as the Stormtrooper with Santa for Xmas.
#3. I just purchased and received a full Darth Vader costume! Just don't tell anyone since I am keeping a secret from most of the locals.
#4. I have two black kitties that sleep with me every night!
#5. I was in the Marines and managed to break both of my hands at the same time! Basically I crushed them in the hatch of an armored vehicle and spent two months in casts.
#6. I completely hated school since I never really was good at making friends until the end of high school. Basically I never had anyone over ever and never really hung out with anyone other than my brother until my Junior year.
#7. My brother was in a car accident when I was in the Marines and even though he broke no bones had such horrible head trauma that they removed part of his brain. He was in a coma for a long time, but sadly they aren't like they are in the movies. It was a much harder time than anything else that I had to go through. He still isn't to the point where he can do too much by himself, but at least he can communicate now. His first word was 9 months after the accident. It has been 5 1/2 years.
#8. My Dad started his own company when he could no longer do his job and meet the expectations of customers he dealt with for years at he old job because of layers of red tape the company had put in place. Now that company that had 500 employees is gone and he in in his 4th year with 15 employees and $20 million in annual sales last year.
#9. I think Kissing is just as important as sex and usually am craving a good make out session more than sex.
#10. I am now Straightedge. Not a fanatic about it, but I guess I am. I don't do drugs, smoke, or drink.
#11. I used to drink. I quit after a night when I went to a show alone, ended up playing dice with the band (Motion City Soundtrack) and drinking to the point wear I hardly remember anything. Basically I knew I was to drunk to drive so I wandered around the city in a t-shirt at 3am trying to get home and heading the wrong way. I was luck a friend tracked me down.
#12. I used to smoke. Almost all Marines did/do. I quit as a promise to myself when I bought my Mustang.
#13. I used to have a problem with drunk calling everyone in my phone.
#14. I never really fit into any specific scene since I tried to be in a lot. Basically I am not geeky enough for the geeks, not punk enough for the punks and so on...
#15. I never went to college and have no ambition to do so. When my manager at current job tried to explain why I needed to go to college if I ever wanted to move up in this company he told me that you learn things like how to be able to manage time. I explained using heavy doses of sarcasm that the Marines could have never taugh me that since we never had to do more than one thing and now I think he really dislikes me...
#16. I really like grilled cheese and tomato soup.
#17. I go for cute chicks and not hot chicks.
#18. I recently learned how to talk to girls in public situations that I don't know and not fear rejection.
#19. I have a problem with quoting movies or TV shows in conversations. Usually it is ok when I am with friends who know and then laugh or join in, but with random people who have no idea what I am taking about they tend to worry about my sanity.
