I went to the Heritage Festival today with Eric.. it was great. I love going to big cultural events for so many reasons..
Eric and I were talking about how when we are at gatherings of people involving a cultural event, no one feels the need to come up to us and have us explain ourselves to them. If they have a question they politely ask and the go about whatever they were doing.. sometimes I get asked about what my jewelry is made of or where I get my work done.. but no one has the need to come up to me perplexed and ask "why?"
Eric was asking me if I ever had the need to go up to someone and just need to know about them? I thought about it and couldn't really think of a time where I just had to know why someone was the way they were.. I thought about this more and came to this.
When I'm walking about people often come up to me and ask me "why!??" now my thought to that is "why do you need to know?"
People have the need to feel special.. like they are in on something good.. something no one else knows and they can then share with people around them. People think that asking me about myself is a positive thing because people rarely get asked about themselves. The things I've done to myself aren't done to seek attention in my mind.. it's just the way I like to be. I think people at large cultural events all just feel so special that people are there to know about them they just don't have that need to ask me "why?"
I think everyone just needs to feel special all the time. haha..
On a crappy note.. I think I've had my camera stolen... *fuck*... sigh.. I need to do some serious hunting..
This a picture of me and eric after a day of sun at the lake!

That's it....you do thinngs for yourself...whatever makes you happy and the way you look are important to YOU...you are you...I hope you always stay that way!
I couldnt have said it better myself
people also seem to search for understanding within themself by relating to another and finding similarities and a sense of belonging... understanding others can help others understand themself or even help some who still need to find themselves..
that sucks about your camera
I hope they drop from the hit they bought with it hehe
with much love and respect
