It's been a while since I've practiced anymore... But I'll tell you my experience doing shibari.
I always like to try new things, so I saw a professional guy with an amazing job, I didn't hesitate and got his number. We talked and arranged for me to be tied to trees in a forest near a beautiful beach.
The sensations I felt were very interesting. While he was tying me up, my heart was beating faster and I started to sweat a lot. It was strange because I was standing still, but then he told me that my body is in a state of alert, because I couldn't do anything, I was trapped.
He tied me up tight (all very professional) and suspended me from trees. The pain is very severe because my body is suspended on ropes, and the ropes, even if they were treated beforehand, scratched the skin (Before tying anyone, the professional washes the ropes and applies cream so they don't scratch so much and become softer) . But even feeling that, I continued because I wanted to feel this experience to the fullest. But the body can't stand being suspended for long, so soon he took me out.
I found it fun, beautiful, a true art. A month after that session, I did it again.
If I would do more sessions? Absolutely!
