This should be made into an Olympic sport.

An Olympic sized swimming pool should have the water drained, and filled to the top with used syringes, found anywhere from all over the world. There will be the usual amount of participants in the race, one swimmer to each lane. But instead of Gold, Silver and Bronze medals.

1st place will receive a blood transfusion and all necessary shots to combat diseases which may be contracted during the race (providing they don't mind having one more needle)

2nd place will receive only a blood transfusion.

3rd place will receive 5 metres of bandage.

Those swimmers who did not place. Well.. They are left in the pool and the cover will be pulled over the top of them.
