Yeah, happy new year. Things are looking on the up. 90% of the things that were "broken" at the end of 2010 are now working / fixed / issues resolved. All good news me thinks. Hope you all had a good "festive season". Ours wasn't too bad, we spent the time at the in laws house. Oh yeah, driving a manual (stick shift btw) car with no clutch is... "Intresting" to say the least.
Had to get a whole new "clutch hyrdroclic fluid pipe" (which makes it sound a lot more glamourous than it really is), and found out that the reason the car was still leaking hyrdrolic fluid (oh yeah I forgot to tell you that. We fixed it. Put it all back together. Couldn't get the clutch to work properly. It was, as my father in law so politely put it "Pissing out" every time the clutch peddle was pressed! Oh dear!). Turns out I didn't need the whole pipe, just a rubber fitting on the end. Asked Citreon, and they don't sell just the rubber fitting, so I'd have had to buy the whole pipe anyway. C'est La Vie eh?
Took it for it's MOT (I think it's a Licencing thing in the US for the car???), and it passed. Cost me the price of the test (30) and they had to fit 2 new side repeater blubs (8) so not bad really.
Mitch really enjoyed Xmas btw. LOVED a play tunnel / pop up house affair he got from his "Aunty" Rachell (Yes I know I said you're name, but I didn't say your user name so they wont know who you are woman, so
). Had loads of other toys and enjoyed the 4 cats of lauras mums. They weren't much for it, but it kept mitch happy.
Anyway that's enough from me.
