Apologies for the slight delay in contacting you.
We have now completed the repair to the DC socket, installing a new socket as the old one was found to be beyond repair. However, although the laptop is now powering up perfectly from the mains supply we have been unable to get the laptop to display any picture to the screen. We assume that this was known to you previously as we could not get the laptop to display a picture to the screen using the battery when it first arrived. The technician has advised that he is certain that the Graphics Processor is at fault and would require a motherboard replacement.
Would you like us to price a motherboard replacement for you?
Damn fecking right! And I'm not paying for it either! I mean, despite what they say, I did use the laptop last week, and it was working. I mean, wtf!
