Do you stay where it's safe, or do you risk it to do something that might pay off. I am here in Providence for the weekend. I used to live and work here only four months ago. I had a job I loved at a small production house. Back in the day, we spent a lot of time watching DVD's (my boss has, I swear, over 2,000 DVDs) and hanging out inbetween editing. I am back here to help him, and last night we ordered some pizza and watched 5 episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, a show that I would never admit to liking if it weren't so well written.
New York is hard. Sometimes, it's really hard and part of me wishes I were back in Providence. But I remember that I alwys felt I was missing out on something by being here. If you want to be in the right place at the right time, you gotta take it upon yourself to get there.
Jesus. I just wrote a fucking Doogie Houser journal entry, Forget what I just said. Have a good weekend.
