I said the following thing about a week ago before flying back to New York.
"Morbid thought: If you died in a plane crash or some other method (here's praying I don't) how would anyone who communicated with you through email and cell phone know? Hopefully, it will not be an issue."
Obviously, I am okay. However, my roomate gave me some sad news. A girl who was friends with his cousin died in a car accident the night before Christmas. Her car was hit by a drunk driver. I knew this girl, Laura, only briefly. I met her one night, we kissed. Slept in the same bed. Exchanged an email or two.
I didn't really know her, and I don't know what to say, but this is my most public forum so if something is going to be said, it should be said here. I am sorry that this happened to her. She was a good person, as far as I knew her.
Nothing will be appropriate, but not acknowledging it seems worse.

You look hot in the revolutionist shirt. I meant the beret thing to be like, "If you are young and hip enough to pull this off, then go for it!" Not an insult at all. You're a hottie in my book!
*AHHH*
