okay dudes. remind me to NEVER go to a party that crowded again, ever.
most of the people i actually wanted to talk to were the people i rode down with, or who i at least see on a semi-regular basis. there were a few people i hadn't seen in a while and was glad to see and talk to for a bit, and there were a couple of people i was very glad to meet. but for the most part, it was not the most enjoyable experience for erins who get a little freaked out and claustrophobic in dense crowds, especially when not permitted to go outside. at all.
all in all, it wasn't really worth the lost sleep and long car ride when there were only about 20-30 people (that's me being rather generous) i had any interest in seeing or talking to.
it's funny that i sometimes have to be reminded that i'm really not a big fan of people in general. maybe i should stick to bars and notbowling, as far as sg gatherings go, at least.
i did get some interesting stories from the party, though. and i got to punch some people, which is always fun.
hel and kitten- i'm glad you're 'our people'. you guys rule.
funny things from the party:
-punching people
-rik freaking out, shaking his fist at people in a circle and calling them, uh, derogatory names
-hans calling us 'fucking breeders', then cuddling up next to hel.
-hel punching some dude because he asked her to, then him asking us if we're racists.
-me bitching to afforementioned dude about some asshole who came in and was trying to play music on the stereo and turning it up louder when it skipped, and it turned out i was bitching to the same guy
-kitten's 'impression'
-aaaaaaaall the nazi jokes
-nicknaming nex 'jerusalem'
-'dagmar'
-'resussitation (sp?) annie'
-other stuff i'm forgetting

But I'm with you. Too many people. I much prefer the smaller get togethers with my favorite people. By the way -- Tony and I are thinking of going to Java Jive next Friday. We should totally hang out and sing some MJ.
