Dear friends,

You should let me know when you're doing things sometimes. I need to get out of this town more often for things other than work. If you don't have my phone number and you think you should (and you're a person I know who might call me for doing things) send me a messagey thing.

Also: I almost died the other day. I wrecked my car on I-5 on my way to work. I'm tired of telling the story of exactly what happened, but it's enough to say that I'm alive and my car is not so much. So I've been driving my mother's Corolla (is that how you spell it?), and I might end up buying it from her, or I might end up getting a new car. I don't know how much I'll be getting from the insurance company yet, though, and I don't exactly have an abundance of extra cash to add to the car fund. So if it's quite possibly going to end up being my car, I should probably learn how to spell it.

Also: it was more like a week ago than the other day, really.
