So for the third time in as many months I find myself living in a different house. 
The place I'm in now is bizarre. It claims to be a city, but is far too rural to qualify. There are patches of civilization. I'll be driving around and randomly wind up on a street that has a ton of major chain stores for maybe a block or two.
Well, I shouldn't say major chain. They were major chains about ten years ago. These are stores I shopped at when I was in elementary school and thought went out of business. Turns out they just went south.
On the bright side, there's a Circle K down the street from my house. So of course the first thing I did after unpacking was break out my Bill And Ted dvds for a refresher course in sound bytes.
So for the next few weeks, at least, the people I talk to will be treated to outdated surfer slang.
Like I said: I'm a strange kind of bastard.
