So today I actually did something.
You see every year the university rolls out the mostly metaphorical red carpet in order to tempt new students to come join in the fun. Or, in the case of my department, rolls out the present students in red t-shirts which say "School of Informatics" on them. Today I was one of those students (it's the fourth or fifth time that I've done it). For some reason I always seem to end up helping out with the "student lifestyle" talk and holding the mic on the bus tour. Much fun. And they pay us, so all is well.
After that I came home and got around to picking my favourite Suicide Girls. Which was difficult. But fun. Also, my friend sent me this, which just about made my day:
Things to do tomorrow:
*Research for my term paper. This will involve going to the library. Not sure how I feel about this.
*Bit of revision (maybe)
*Start reading "Hercule Poirot: The Complete Short Stories". I'm reading and analysing this for part of what I'm hoping to do during the summer. Which I will talk more about after the 18th. But it will be sweet as... as... mayple syrup. Yeah. Mayple syrup. Before I start it I have to finish the Tom Clancy book I have on the go. For the love of God I do not know why I'm reading a Tom Clancy book. It's dire. Which is what I get for being bored and poking around on my flat mate's book shelf. But I don't like not finishing things.
*Get an actual pic of me for my profile. I had my hair not too long ago (cut probably isn't a strong enough word. They chopped over a foot of it off) and there are no recent pics. This:
which I'm using at the moment, is a sketch my tattoo was based on.
*Stand in the corner until I'm sorry.
