Well as a complete stoner chick I have to throw in a pic of me with my beloved bong folks.
I have been a glass artist for 18 years. I started my career as a pipe maker in Northern California (Humboldt county baby!) & later moved on to Eugene, Oregon to be an apprentice to Bob Snodgrass, a sweet hippy dude famous for his pipes that changed colour from gold & silver fuming. I also worked at a bong shop called Jerome Baker Designs doing the graveyard shift after spending my mornings and days working with Bob in an old gutted out school bus. This particular bong is one my friend made, & I've had it for 17 years. I made the downstem bit, that you load the weed into. I love using a bong to filter, it is by far my favorite smoking device! After spending 25 years smoking ganja it is still my weapon of choice. I am in the process of learning to make concentrates, something that hasn't really hit our shores down here in Australia. I'm so excited to hit up my home state of Colorado one day again & try out all these tasty legal edibles & dabble in some different oils & 'ear wax' I keep hearing so much about. Meanwhile I'll cuddle up to my trusty bong this winter to keep me warm & happy.
