Lame weekend. Sort of. I found out on Friday night that the Six Parts Seven were playing Buffalo after it was too late to drive there. I adore them and I was so pissed off I didn't know about the show. Normally, I am on top of that stuff. Another band I like called Saxon Shore played at BJ's that night and I got to see some friends I don't see all that often, but I was bummed on missing the Six Parts Seven. Saxon Shore were good, too. So I guess it wasn't that bad of a night. Last night was a little weird. I wound up talking to this girl I'm friends with that I hadn't seen in two months. The weather has been bad, she's been snowboarding a lot, holidays, etc and she has been staying in. It was nice to see her, but it's kinda of awkward. I don't know what's going on between us and it is getting to the point of being annoying. Whatever.

I really like the new Deerhunter CD. It's probably my favorite of the year so far. The Explosions In The Sky is out and it's pretty good. I guess I ordered it early enough that they sent me a two CD set with a second disc of remixes. I'm happy about that.
