Yesterday I was brought in for a photo shoot at Full Sail University, the school at which I'm currently studying film. It was to be a look at the fashions of Full Sail students, which in my mind is a bit of an anomaly. Full Sail is a school running on a 24 hour schedule with classes blocked off in 4, 8, or 12 hour increments. We spend days and nights on sets, rigging lights, running cable, testing cameras, recording audio, rendering massive files that could contain anything from a video game character to a 64-layer EDM track. In general, Full Sail fashion is comfort and safety. It's t-shirts, cargo shorts, sneakers. It's jeans with a work belt, or Jordans and a fitted cap.
This shoot was fun for that reason. These were people who still put in that creativity and style, regardless of their workload or environment. People who still want to stand out from the pack, be it formally or eccentrically. There were girls from Croatia, Kenya, Germany, guys from Portugal, Jamaica, Mexico, and of course the USA.
Here are some of my favorite portraits from the session, feel free to comment and critique! For more, check out a full set on my website: harrythethird.com
