If I could only watch five movies for the rest of my life on a deserted island, I would probably pick:
1. Interview with the Vampire
•one of my favorite movies, also my all time favorite book series. I don't feel that the movie did the books as much justice as it could have, but it has a special place in my heart anyways.
2. The Nightmare Before Christmas
•Tim Burton is absolutely wonderful in my opinion and I adore his characters and aesthetic. I always have. Also the music is beautiful.
3. The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
•I adore the LotR books and movies, and my elvish tattoo is a quote from The Fellowship.
4. Donnie Darko
•Another of my all time favorites. I remember watching it as a child and being so confused and intrigued, and I find that I enjoy it more each time I watch it. A Frank tattoo is definitely on my list of wants.
5. Beetlejuice
•Michael Keaton is hilarious, and who doesn't love them some Winona Ryder? I watched this one very often as a child as well and still enjoy it each time I watch it. Similarly to Donnie Darko, I plan on having a beetlejuice tattoo of some sort. Maybe I'll end up with a movie sleeve??
