Howdy all,
So I'm finally in Austin with Beatrice...w00t
! I'm going to be staying here for a large part of the summer vacation because her mom has asked me to come work at her restraunt, an offer I gladly accepted. It's really great to be just a stone's throw away from Bea. Before coming to Austin, we hadn't seen each other for about a month (except for when i saw her during an hour and a half layover she had in houston 
), which is the longest we've ever been apart. Yeah, yeah, some people might not find that such a long time, but I did 
. Anyway, it's just great to be here .
On another note, I now find it somewhat scary to fall asleep here. Last night, Bea was attacked by two scorpions, one of which stung her. And tonight, while her little brother (Shane) and I played computer games, two more reared their ugly little heads. Shane and I did a great job killing them. I covered the first one with a cup and waited for Shane to get the bug spray, and on his signal I lifted the cup, allowing Shane to kill the little hellian. The second one was in the living room, the room next to where I sleep (btw, there are no doors inbetween rooms :-\). I alerted Shane that we had some more "hunting" to do. And, armed with nothing but toilet paper and bug spray, we trapped the little bastard and sprayed it's ass off (literally). It was scary, but it was a great way for me to spend time with Bea's little brother, and for that I'm grateful.
Once again, it's great to be back near Bea. I missed her dearly.
I will probably post more journal entries now, because Bea's house has a cable internet connection (damn you dial up!!!!
