I just had a conversation with Chris (who is not from MA) about Boston, and it being "my city" and how nothing feels worse than an attack on "my city". Bostonians are a different breed of people. We live and breathe our city and everything about it, and when it hurts we hurt. I love Boston. I left my heart there, and it is broken right now. Being so far away from the place I love when something awful happens is the most helpless feeling in the world. Watching the footage of those same streets I lived on and walked down every day is killing me. I love "my city". My heart goes out to all of the people who have been effected by this stupid, horrible and pointless tragedy. And Fuck the police commissioner for basically saying make your own conclusions about terrorism. It is terrorism. It was designed to instill fear amongst the people which is exactly what terrorism is all about. It may not be organized terrorism, but fuck that shit!
