Since it was so nice out today, I decided to go on a run. I don't really like doing much alone, especially running around a lake--- mainly for safety reasons, and it's very apparent I don't have anyone to call and ask to go with me. Now, this could be in part due to the fact that not many people (besides myself) have every day free, but it's really because I don't have a long list of people to call.
So, during the 2.5 miles, I was thinking about the past, missing some of my old friends; game nights, nights out, lunch dates, etc....then I remembered why we aren't friends anymore and I realized that I would rather not have any friends than have bad friends (who are dishonest, who disrespect you, whatever)--- and I stopped missing them.
That was my big epiphany of the day and it made me feel a little less lonely.
