Well, my birthday was today and it wasn't too bad; I've had a lot worse anyway. In keeping with my self appointed tradition of doing something new on my various birthdays, today I tried Pakistani food for the first time, it was quite good actually. Though my Pakistani friend is a bit creepy to be honest. And I also tried reading Harry Potter to some elderly people at one of my local retirement homes, while it was not as horrible as many seem to think; I never really imagined myself surrounded by the dying, I do not think I could do it daily. Many of the residents do not understand that you can not let them out or let them see their children and it's only worse if they actually do understand...but the ones that are still lucid and aware of their situation really can be friendly, entertaining in a quirky sort of way, and a font of wisdom. Next birthday I think I'm gonna try climbing a government building really late at night, and I'm done ranting.
Edit: Just found out that one of my guild mates on WoW just passed his phase 2 FBI testing =). I also found out that apparently they took the driving course out of the curriculum; as in the track's still there and the DEA still uses it but not the FBI o.O Wtf is the point of 'Homeland Security' if it screws up FEMA, blames local agencies, and then downgrades training for national agencies? *sigh* sorry, done venting
