When I was 8-years-old, I did not want to be an astronaut or the president or an actress. I had two goals regarding career: one was to be a "New York poet", which involved reading poetry in coffee houses and wearing a black beret. The other was to be a classy stripper (my example being Gypsy Rose Lee, who I was obsessed with at the time). I've already had my poetry published and have read in coffee shops (albeit not in New York) and so I figure that, if I become a Suicide Girl, my second goal will be at least halfway realized.

And who doesn't like saying that they ascertained the career they've wanted since they were a child?
