Hey folks,
First time writing in my journal here... So I figure Ill just talk about myself and whats been going on lately...
So, Im 23 and live in Abbotsford, BC which is just outside of Vancouver. I hate it in abbotsford, this place is a hole. I may as well be living right down town considering the number of homeless people and prostitutes I see daily.
I grew up in Delta, another place just outside of Vancouver, but its a lot better than here! I miss living there and wish I could move back but its too far to drive to work... anyways...
Going to band practice on friday, I play bass guitar in a band called The Harder We Fall. We are still getting our shit together, we got close to a full album ready and plan to get it professionally recorded this year. Our guitar player writes most of the songs, he has a pretty unique style that I am growing very fond of. I guess I would describe it as speed punk metal, its kinda like a cross between Slayer and Pennywise (if you can imagine what that would sound like...)
Got Jiu Jitsu class tonight, been taking it for 2 months now. Its lots of fun, Ive always liked fighting and now I get to practice it twice a week
. Going for my yellow belt test at the end of the month, Ive been progressing pretty fast (at least faster than the others that joined at the same time as me), and hopefully in a year or two Ill be ready to do some competitive fighting...
Moving in with my gf at the end of the month... Little sketched out about it as I havent known her too long, but Ill see how it goes. Its not like we are getting married.
So should be pretty busy these next couple weeks, moving etc...
