I'm back from the Berlin Inline Marathon 2007 and I also got my wisdom teeth removed, which was a much better experience than Berlin.
Traveling in Berlin by car is not that easy...
I arrived on Friday afternoon and went to the Berlin Fairground first, to pick up my starter package for the marathon. It was raining cats and dogs the whole time, so I was soaking wet, after returning to my car. I went to my Hotel (right at Tegel Airport... I was a little late booking one), checked in, took a shower and went back into the city by subway to meet with another guy from Hannover.
When I got up the next morning the weather looked promising. No rain and the streets where almost dry. This was at about 9am. At 10am it started raining again... and it didnt stop... I met with three other skaters from Hannover before the start and the marathon started between Brandenburger Tor and Siegessule at 4:30pm.
I took some pics with my old cam...
Rain at the Reichstag
Rain on our way to the start
Start and Siegessule in the far back
Brandenburger Tor in the far back was the finish line
Making pics wasnt exactly easy
On Sunday morning (beautiful weather by the way...) I left Berlin to spend a few lazy days with my parents.
On Monday I got my wisdom teeth removed. Compared to Berlin this was actual fun.
