Hello again, SG Land!
What a month this has been! I've been meaning to update for a while now, so I'm glad I found a spare minute to write this blog.
First and foremost? Well, I JUST got hired (literally, as of fifteen minutes ago) to edit a documentary film that is basically a shoe-in for the Toronto International Film Festival and the Sedona Film Festival, which is a big feckin deal. I have never wanted to be an editor because I hate sitting in front of computers, but sometimes opportunities fall on your lap that I just couldn't say no to. Perhaps this will give me and Final Cut Pro a chance to fix our abusive and unstable relationship.
In the meantime, I'm still working as a costumer for a play that will be showing sometime in the spring next year, and on my days off I've been working on short films doing everything from assistant camera operator to gaffer to boom op and anything in between.
Blood Ivy is still in post-production, and I haven't seen any of it cut together, but from what I have heard, it looks radical and the costumes look fantastic, given that the entire thing is shot in black and white, and therefore, costuming was quite a challenge - fun though. I am excited to see the finished product.
I shot a spread for Adbusters magazine
I got my leg tattoo coloured in a bit!
I saw my favorite band live ...
and met Adam Carson afterwards
And next month lovely miss Dwam and I may be shooting another set for your viewing pleasure ....
In the meantime, Cloud Aura is still in member review, so click that link and show Ituit and I some love.
