It's been since July 3rd?!
Ok... Ok... Ok...
This is an update to tide you all over while I go to rehearsal. When I get back I'll make a proper update.
I promise.
I will say this real quick: PODCASTING.
I love it. I listen to tons of them. You all should. The revolution has started and the future looks promising. I love the fact that people have the power to reach millions. Sure, tons of the podcasts available today, sound like crap... but the cream will rise to the top.
I'm thinking of even starting one. One possibility is recording my shows. They are completely improvised, so each one is different. What a blessing. I don't even have to write material! I tried recording a show this past Monday. I used my Ipod with the Italk made by Griffin. Ipod's are made to only record at 8 bits, instead of the standard 16 bits. Why? The recording industry didn't want every concert being bootlegged at CD quality. I don't know about you, but I've heard plenty of bootlegs that are recorded straight off a patch to the board. Want to stop the bootlegs? Get those evil techs and leave my Ipod alone!
So, anyone have a good way of recording onto a digital source? CD, MINIDISC, Harddrive recorder? I'd love to spend $300.00 or less on this little project.

Dont think that post sprung fully-formed from my mind. That was about an hour of writing and about two of learning. I started writing it, read what Id written, realized I didnt know what the hell I was talking about, and decided to set myself straight. If you have any questions I probably dont have answers to them, but Id be delighted to learn more.

Come on over.
