A new post for you!
Well folks, it's happened again. I've received 100 emails asking for a new post, so here you have it. No need to thank me, thank your fellow fan club members for writing in!
What's been happenening in the wonderful world of me? I'll give you some highlights and you can fill the rest in with tabloid headlines and fantasies of your own.
I went and saw War of the Worlds. I didn't hate it. As a matter of fact, I'll dare to say it was fun. Fun in what way?
Does there have to be a certain way?
Can't something just be fun? Damn, it's summer time and you are actually trying to 'qualify' fun. Get over yourself. It's that attitude that kept you from being invited.
Tisk Tisk. What a pity.
New subject...
Oh, so I went to see the movie I mentioned before, with my friend Johnathan because we had to kill some time. What for? That's what I was wondering. So I asked and he replied, "Oh, I want you to meet a friend of mine. I've been telling him about you and he wants to meet you. His show isn't over till later, so we'll meet up at Hamadas at 12:30 - 1:00 tonight." So we watched the movie and off we went to Hamadas. It was a lot of fun. Lots of laughs.
It's killiing you, huh? You want to know who was waiting to meet me. Well, if you hold out your hand, I'll write it on this piece of paper and put it in your hand.
Here.
Open it.
What's it say?
You unfold a small piece of paper, and written in some of the nicest penmanship in the world, is the name ... David Copperfield.
Drinks were had, and jokes were told, everyone seemed to be having a great time. I almost asked if I could sit at that table. But alas, I stayed with my party and made the best of it.
No, we had a great time. Made each other laugh, had some great drinks, and was told I need to come see his 'place'. Sure. Ok.
It's nice that my talent is getting noticed. Johnathan is a great friend. It's nice when someone that's made it has faith in you and wants to help you make it too.
I have so many little adventures to share... but, I'll save them for another time. We'll wait till the next 100 emails come in.
And with that, I leave you with this song...
Joshua gently lowers the needle onto the record and we here the gentle sounds of Glen Miller's Moonlight Serenade.
