The empty friends list and favorites list mock me everytime I look at my profile. The hollow spaces silently laugh at me while I type this entry. The problem with this sight is that its not very work friendly. Unfortunately thats when I spend most of my time hanging out on message boards.
My entire work day is a struggle to fight boredom while trying my best to look busy. As long as the network stays up and the websites are all up to date my bosses don't ask for much. Really, when you work for a bunch of people who don't know much about computers, it takes minimal effort to wow their collective pants off. I'm trying to be a professional slacker. So far its been working out well.
Anyway, what was I talking about again? Oh yeah, the not being work friendly thing. My bosses may be layed back, but hanging out on a site that features naked women (even if it would just be the message boards) wouldn't go over every well. So that's my excuse for no friends list. As for the favorites, I can't narrow it down to just three so it remains empty.
On a totally unrelated subject, I've begun to really like Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon album. I have always like The Wall better, but that's because I've been listening to Dark Side wrong. I'd hear a track on the radio or play one off the cd and think they were good, but not Wall good. Then a couple of days ago I was relaxing on the couch and I decided to pop the cd in. I layed back, closed my eyes, and instead of looking at the album as various tracks, I listened to the album as one big audio tapestry. As the last note died down, the concept of the album dawned on me, and I now apreciate more just how amazing it really is.
