Okay, here we go, Monday morning we had a power outage. I over slept and was late to work by an hour. I get home and discover I have a Trojan virus on my computer. I spend the better part of my evening following Norton's instructions to get rid of it to no avail so I wind up having to restore my system. Luckily, I didn't lose much however, when I opened my iTunes I manage to click the wrong thing and all 250 of my songs disappear from the screen and my iPod that was hooked up at the time. Needless to say, I freak out for a little while before diving back into my computer and managing to recover my tunes. Scared the shit out of me!
Last night was a doozey. I went to the Red Cross Blood Bank to donate and the techician put the needle in wrong so she had to do it again in my other arm, I now have a bruise on both arms. That's not the best part though. I get done at the blood bank and head to my car where I discover I didn't close my door properly and now the battery's dead. So I call AAA to come out and give me jump. Fortunately, there was a good diner across the street because it took an hour and a half for the truck to show up.
Things are looking up though. My friend is heading to Hawaii for a couple of weeks and is dropping off her cat, Motorboat, tonight for me to take care of while she is gone. Motorboat is an indoor cat so she is really easy to take care of. She loves to jump on to people's laps, curl up and go to sleep. When she purrs, she sounds like a motorboat moving at low speed hence the weird name. I am really excited! It's been a little over a year since I had to put my cat, Paka, to sleep and I have really missed having a little furball around the house.
