The second.. but not quite last.. housewarming party happened last night. It was lots of fun in the best kinds of ways. I got a little squeemish when messes were made, because I'm secretly a neat freak.. Well, I'm not clean by super standards, but everything has to be "in it's proper place," that probably doesn't make any sense. /neurotic. Ryan, you forgot your chairs. I sold them on the black market to a destitute slavic aristocrat. It had to be done.

Brian Eno is helping me study today. It's nice of him to pitch in for the cause. Life keeps getting better all the time. I wish I were done with my degree, I deserve to be done. I keep getting the impression that I've learned everything of value I'm going to learn in college. Now it's just paying for classes I don't care about to fill in requirements that won't make me any smarter. Maybe that's the litmus test for success in life. College as learning patience for the bullshit and mediocrity of being a middle class american.

I have to get out of this country.
