Let's rehearse:
hansel's mom: "Will you watch your cousin for a couple days while I'm off having fun?"
hansel: "No"
REPEAT

I swear I'm going to practice this until I get it right.
A couple days away from the computer and what did I learn? Netflix saves. My brain worked overtime in plotting mode this week. How could I pacify a fourteen year old that never stops moving? Jesus Christ Superstar, of course! Nothing clears a room of angsty hip-hop teens like JESUS! All I needed was some pissed off southerners, an angry preacher and some fire and brimstone and I'd have never seen the kid again. I'm sure he'll turn out alright, just not on my watch.
It almost feels like double babysitting. I'm watching an optioned in intern at work too. What do I owe this lovely summer job? She's friends with the bosses daughter. It's actually not as bad as I imagined. She's pleasant enough, seems pretty bright. Talks a lot.. not too down-to-earth though. Oh well. I'm looking forward to a weekend of relative solitude. It's funny.. Even after a week like this, I just want a beer and some decent conversation. Quality over quantity company.
Still having bad dreams.

I actually made it to Pirate last week, and you did not.
What's the status on the studio, btw? If my best friend moves here soon, you're going to have some great stuff to practice with.
