I love three day weekends. I didn't waste an ounce. The highlights:
On Friday night I started my best attempt at saying goodbye to Devo. After the going away party, I ended up trying to see a concert and showing up on the wrong night. I felt a touch out of place at the show I ended up at.
On Saturday I went to Seattle with Devo. I forced him to take me really. I don't let go of friends easily. It was a great trip. I wouldn't mind living in Seattle. I think I'm gonna go back up some time soon. I had the chance to meet the guy who is adding drums and noise to Devo and my best output. Fun times.
On Sunday we were slowly returning from Seattle. Spent most of the day on Capital Hill. Devo got his nose stretched and a new bull loop. Pardon my lack of proper terminology. We got back faster than I expected. I was able to go to wedding reception of a friend I highly admire. I'm glad I made it. It was great. We ran the hotel out of whisky -- all whisky.
Today is the last day I'll see Devo for awhile. I just invested in $1300 of pro audio gear to be able to keep in touch with Devo. Most notably a motu 828mkII. I practically stole it all it was so cheap. New studio monitors, line 6 delay box, skb rackmount case. Devo also sold me an old korg for $50. Now if I only I had any talent.

I never really liked living alone for more than a few months. It gets old. And it is really too bad the people you moved there to be near have decided to leave.
